Vineyard Values and Priorities

♥ Because God loves us and we deeply love God, we celebrate that love, express our love to God, and declare God's praise through worship.

♥ Because we want to be fully committed, we desire to be holy (living in humility and honesty before God in every area of our lives) and to be hungering and thirsting after Him.

♥ Because we love each other, we draw close to one another, especially through our involvement in small Kinship groups.

♥ Because we want to walk in Jesus' steps of loving and healing others, we give priority to training the congregation to live as Jesus lived.

♥ Because we are in the process of being healed up, compassionately ministering healing to others is a priority

♥ Because we rejoice in what God has done for us, we desire to share the good news of Jesus by evangelism, missions and church planting.

♥ Because Jesus highly valued unity and harmony among believers, we want to emphasize that oneness in Christ, and by blessing everything God is doing.

♥ Because the Bible is precious to us we will seek to corporately teach it, privately read and meditate upon it, and stay in harmony with the Bible in our teaching and lives.

♥ Because God accepts us as we are and not because of our performance, we will extend grace and mercy in a non-rejecting, non-legalistic way to the hurting instead of executing them with our judgments. Healing comes from being loved in this way.

♥ Because we value the gracious gifts of the Holy Spirit given to build-up the church, we will encourage the appropriate and balanced use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, expecting signs and wonders to occur.

♥ Because we have received freely, giving generously of our love, time, energy, and resources is an appropriate response.

♥ Because we feel a special call to young families, single mothers, and those who have strayed from church, our style is purposely contemporary, informal, low-key, gentle, non-hype (tuned-down emotions), non-glitz and non-manipulative.
